INTERVIEW: Musa Murrombe.

I am Nomusa Murrombe, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Murrombe from Etwatwa in the East Rand.

My mother is self motivated. She is well organised and hard working. I am inspired by her faith and her fighting spirit. She loves her family and her God.

My mother alsways teaches me to be strong, not give up easily and also about the importance of family and values.
Becuase of her support I received a certificate of ‘a well organised person’ at school, which is a character I learned from her.
One of the other things she has taught me is to cook. My favourite meal consists of mashed potatoes, roast chicken and green salad.
I enjoy spending time with my friends, listening to music and having discussions.
I dream of being a lawyer and building my mother her dream house. I hope to use my career to help those who are vulnerable.
To my peers, i would like to emphasise the importance of education. It opens doors and gets one out of poverty. It doesn’t matter what mistake you might have made, either by falling pregnant or failed before, education is still important, therefore one should not give up on it.
I have learned that nothing is impossible with God. Behind closed doors, people are crying, have lost hope and are about to give up. But no situation or experience is above God. So let’s not lose hope, but have faith in the God who is able to fix what ever we feel is broken.
To my peers who have their parents or relatives; you had no choice of what happened. God is the father of the fatherless, hope to those who have given up. Also to those who are overcomed by addictions, even that too God is able to change. But it all starts with making the decision to seek a better life.

A big thank you to Nomusa and her mother for sharing with us on their relationship.
